Bondi Penthouse
Barely visible from the street, this rooftop penthouse features a large deck terrace with wondeful view over the ocean as well as an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, both unexpected and stunning.
Designed by Sydney-based studio MPR Design Group, Bondi Penthouse is located on top of a 1920 building in Bondi Beach, one of Sydney's iconic beaches.
Bondi Penthouse is concealed from passersby on the street by the facade parapet. Doubling as the roof terrace's railing, inhabitants have unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean over the established facade's extension.
The streamlined flow of the architectural design effectively mimics the analogous waterfront surf that resides at the shore below. Low-level glass louvres and sections of glass gazing areas carved within the ceiling provide a degree of al fresco viewing to roofspace that can be otherwise restrictive in more traditional designs.
